Qi Gong: Teacher Simon Thomas

Qigong (or ch'i kung) is an internal Chinese meditative practice which combines slow graceful movements with various breathing techniques to promote the circulation of Qi (Life Force) within the human body.
There are three main benefits to continued practice of Qigong
1) Improvement of flexibility, strength and all-around health
2) An increased level of personal Qi which can be used to heal others, or it can be used in the practice of martial arts and sports
3) To become more emotionally balanced and in tune with Universal Law.
At Iomlan Qigong is taught to both individuals and groups all classes are by donation, All group classes operate on a drop in basis.
There are 3 qigong styles taught at these sessions.
Medical Qigong which balances the body’s organs and meridians directly.
Taoist 8 Brocades Qigong which strengthens the bodies Primary root essence.
Shaolin Buddhist Qigong which focuses the mind and increases strength and flexibility.
